Today would have been Atticus’ 14th birthday, but he’s been gone a little under five months.
Gone, but by no means forgotten. Today’s plans include a hike and dining on his favorite birthday dinner, eggs and potatoes, all in his honor. It’s what he would have wanted to do.
This may be the final shot for The Daily Atticus—then again, it may not.

In the meantime we warmly invite Atticus’ followers to check out Rain in the Forecast, a newish blog focused on Rain, who I refer to as Atticus’ niece. (They’re not actually related.)
